Minsuk + Simon: The Wedding at Bram Leigh

To the bride who loves to collect pine cone,

I was very excited after the met up with Simon and Minsuk, just because it will be a cross-culture wedding (Malaysian and Korean) and I got to see a real hanbok (the traditional Korean dress)

It was a high school musical competition that brought Simon and Minsuk together. They were sitting next to each other. It was a love at first sight for Simon, but initially, Minsuk was rather cold to him. They also went to the same church, so Simon would purposely went to the service that Minsuk went to. And everyday Simon prayed that God would show him signs whether Minsuk was the right person.

One day, a couple/friends asked Simon what were the criterias in a girl that he was looking for? He described all of the criterias of his dream wife based on Minsuk. But who would have guessed that, this couple was actually friends of Minsuk as well and they were planning to match Simon and Minsuk! Holy Moly, God has answered Simon's prayers! Do not underestimate the power of prayers, it is the bluetooth that connect us to God directly haha!

After a few double dates with the couple, Simon and Minsuk went for an one on one date. Simon's bestmen, Kenny and Simon's family couldn't be more happier with this beautiful Korean lady whose heart Simon has won. According to Kenny, they were worried about Simon's love life, but now they are thankful that God saved the best to the last.

Kenny's funny speech made us all laughed so hard. He revealed that when Simon and Minsuk first got together, he didn't reveal her name to his friends, so they gave Minsuk a good nickname, "Kimchi" it was.

Seeing Minsuk dropping her happy tears at the ceremony also warmed our eyes. Simon immediately took out his handkerchief to wipe her tears while holding his own tears. It was a real touching moment when two souls finally found each other.

Simon and Minsuk changed into hanbok after their speeches at the reception. Guests started to get excited and wanted photos with these newly wed "Korean models". After a few drinks, Minsuk's father loosen himself up and showing some moves on the dance floor. Minsuk was very surprised because she never seen her father dances before.

At the end of the reception, Minsuk's mother hold my hand and rubbed my shoulder and thanked me in Korean. Minsuk and Simon gave us a good hug. I was speechless at that moment. I am so thankful that I've met this nice couple. I am so thankful that we were provided good lunch before the wedding ceremony and were seated the reception.

Dear Simon and Minsuk, thank you for your loving hearts. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you so much for letting us to be part of your wedding day. Looking forward to meet "little kimchi" one day!

PS: #1 I accidentally broke a glass in the gazebo when I was taking photos of the signing; and Gary broke a wine glass too while he was taking the group photos.... Oooooopsy!

#2 It was a windy Summer day. If you look at the photos carefully, you will notice that there were many funny veil moments...
