Alina Maria

Needless to say much, it's perfecto. She is perfect.

I would like to dedicate this song to her, because her favourite colour is yellow.

*

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And everything you do
Yeah they were all yellow

I came along
I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called Yellow

It's true
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine for you
Look how they shine

Look at the stars
Look how they shine for you
And all the things that you do

Carolyn + Peter : The Wedding at Builders Arms Hotel

I always enjoy photographing simple weddings.

Carolyn and Peter decided to celebrate love over a small wedding at Builders Arms Hotel with their dearest and nearest. We first met Peter and Carolyn in a sunny Winter afternoon at our previous Polaroid shop in Parkville. Karen Young, our happy client who is also a colleague of Carolyn recommended us to this couple, thank you Karen!

The impression that Peter gave us was: a soft-spoken gentlemen. When we were talking about the wedding, Carolyn was as excited as a happy little girl, she couldn't stop smiling. I was very looking forward to see her silver wedding dress. Carolyn and Peter have knew each other for over 20 years, but they only started to get together few years ago.

I love how everything turned out so simple yet elegant at the wedding: silver wedding dress to pastel colour bouquet, to blue wedding suit, to coconut frosted cake, to the green velvet curtain at the Bowery Room, to the grey wall at the courtyard... And to the weather was incredibly good on that Spring afternoon. Such a blessing.

Carolyn's two beautiful sons were the pageboys. Instead of exchanging wedding rings, Carolyn presented Peter an IWC watch. Oh Peter was the happiest person on earth, he couldn't wait to show it off and that made everyone laughed. Happy is the man who not only married to a beautiful wife, but also got given his favourite toy.

The afternoon was filled with good food, good companions, good live band and happy laughters. As I walked out of the building I felt honoured to be part of this celebration.

Dear Carolyn and Peter, thank you again for having me at your lovely wedding. Thank you for calling me and letting me know how much you love the photos. It really meant alot to me. I wish you all the best in embarking a new journey in Singapore.
