Laura + Beau: The Backyard Wedding

" 3 Words"
by Cheryl Cole

I told her you are the love of my life and
One day you gonna be my wife and
We are gonna have some babies together

I told him you are the man of my dreams
You saved me from drowning in the streams
I know we're really gonna last forever and ever

It was those, three words that saved my life
It wasn't complicated
Wasn't premeditated
It wasn't underrated
Boy I'm so glad you stayed and
It was those three words that saved my life
It wasn't complicated
Wasn't premeditated
To you I'm dedicated
So just go ahead and say it

I love you I love you
You are the love of my life my life
I love you I love you I love you
You are the love of my life my life

I was excited about Laura and Beau's wedding, because it was my favourite type of wedding- backyard wedding. I have deep interest in Victorian houses and shooting a backyard wedding is like getting a precious invitation to visit a Victorian house. Simply because we don't have Victorian house in Malaysia. I always get fascinated by the details in a Victorian house, from the door knob to toilet tiles to paintings to old telephone to cabinets to curtains to wallpapers to wood fire oven to brick wall...

The wedding took place at Beau's father's house. A simple and perfect set up on a fine Autumn afternoon.

Laura and Beau met at a Coles Christmas party. They got along straight away at the party. Beau actually lived three doors away from one of Laura's best friends.

Laura herself has good taste and loves vintage shopping. The vintage wedding gown was a scored from an op shop. I definitely love the vintage rings of her grandma on her finger.

Dear Laura and Beau, although we might not meet again, but thank you so much for having me at your beautiful wedding and I enjoyed it so much, especially when you both are not shy to kiss in front the camera. Wish you many many happy years together :)
